Canada Day Manicure

Okay, so in lieu of posting the manicure I did with the dotting tools for the first time, I decided to post my Canada Day manicure instead! I meant to post the first dotting tool one last week and then the week just seemed to slip away, and now I don't want it to be too long before I post the Canada Day one too, so I'll post this one first!  Here are the pictures:

I was super happy with the way it turned out! This is only the second time using the dotting tools, so I used one of the bigger dotters, and then the smaller one on the other end of the tool for the smaller dots. For whatever reason I wasn't too happy with the bigger white dots on the red nails, so I decided to put a second smaller dot on top of the white ones, and I liked it much better! But I have to say I like the white nail with the red dots much better. I think I just ended up putting too many white dots on the red nails.

For the red I used OPI Thanks So Muchness, and the white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  I loved the red, I thought it was the perfect red for Canada Day, and the added bit of shimmer was just that much better. I always forget to say that I always use the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat under my manicure and Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat on top of my manicure, and have in all of the other pictures that I posted as well.
